STUDYING IN FUNTS

The FUNTS website is the student service desk on the net. The course schedule is published on the site at the beginning of each semester. Basic Studies (25 ECTS) are mainly web courses. Contact teaching sessions (2–3 days) of Subject, Advanced and Postgraduate Studies take place mainly in Savonlinna where the Finnish Information Service on Tourism Research is situated. Some of the contact teaching sessions are held in tourist destinations and enterprises and member university localities. Contact teaching sessions are a compulsory part of the studies. Optional studies take place if enough students have registered for the study units (minimum of 12 graduate or postgraduate students). Students receive confirmation for the study unit by e-mail after the registration period has ended.
