Barents Tourism Today and Tomorrow I 12-13.2.2008, Saariselkä Seminar brings together specialists to discuss current issues in the tourism sector. The focus of the seminar is on tourism in the Barents Region now and in the future. During the first day we hear about the tourism in the northern regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Northwest Russia and international tourism trends in the Barents context. The work continues on the second day in workshops concentrating on multilateral cross-border tourism cooperation in practice. Aim of the seminar is to outline the tourism map of the Barents Region and find new ideas for the future tourism cooperation. The seminar brings together different actors on tourism sector to discuss current issues in Barents tourism.
